Das Buch befasst sich mit der Entwicklung und Herstellung von neuartigen resonanten Magnetfeldsensoren, welche auf der Kombination eines mikromechanischen Resonators und eines magnetischen Feldkonzentrators mit zwei engen Spalten beruhen. Die Sensoren nutzen die mechanische Resonanzfrequenz als Ausgangssignal und erreichen dabei Sensitivitäten von bis zu mehreren MHz/T. Aufgrund dieser hohen Sensitivität ist der Einsatz auf dem Gebiet elektronischer Kompasssysteme möglich.


This book reports on the development and fabrication of novel resonant magnetic microsensors with frequency output. The devices are based on the combination of a micromechanical resonator and a planar magnetic field concentrator with two narrow gaps. The devices exploit the mechanical resonance frequency as output signal and provide sensitivities up to several MHz/T. In view of the high sensitivity, applications such as electronic compass systems, i.e., the measurement of the Earth's magnetic field, can be envisaged.
